AGM 2025 (Winter)
Spring Lodge (Captain, Steve Turner) Delibrately joined Summer League knowing full well they were only waiting for another league to start up.
It was incredibly inconsiderate towards both the Witham League and its players, It also caused major problems that could have been avoided.
Having discussed this, it has been decided to ban this player from entering the Winter season, though its unlikely they will want to now.
This brings the teams down to 12 and it seems that everyone Ive spoken to suggests a one division format makes entirely perfect sense and allows enough time to fit in the usual End season Knockouts.

- Role Call - all 13 teams represented
- New team in (The Cherry Tree)
- The Elms still in with mostly original players.
- Rule regarding new players after halfway point, updated. New vote states NO NEW SIGNINGS after 26th May No Exceptions.
- New active Committee helpers joined. Amanda, Les and Toddy. Making 5 plus Chris treasurer
- Div 1 - 6 teams with a 3 group meetings (home away home etc) 15 games
- Div 2 - 7 teams plus a Bye. with one home one away format. (14) games
- both divisions ending the same week.
- Knockout cup prelim draw between 12 teams were drawn for 1st 6 games
- 6 winning teams move to KO Cup, 6 losing teams move to consolation cup
- both cups will move to round 1 proper with 4 teams to play via blind draw and 2 teams getting a bye to next round (The only Byes in the cup) CUP Rules are on the web site, and this is now the only place answers to questions etc will be found, including KO Draws, which will be randomly draw and witnessed the week prior to fixture.
- Cup format is the same as normal league format but all legs are one leg only and all games are double in double out. use normal result sheet to send results
- Callers must be used at any venue that only uses the single display electronic scorers.
